I am very happy to announce that we have received our certification from the Arizona Secretary of State officially qualifying us as a candidate for Arizona’s 6th Congressional District.
The voters of CD6 have spoken, and we were able to turn in over two times the amount of signatures needed to qualify.
Times are tough right now. We find joy in celebrating victories like this, but our hearts are with all of those experiencing hardship in this trying time.
Thank you to all of the volunteers and supporters who have been working so hard on this campaign. Even though things look much different than they did just a month ago, we are confident in our ability to get our message out and connect with voters.
With your trust and investment in me, we will work tirelessly to help stem the long-term economic impact this crisis will have on our state and nation for months to come. We will work to restore the jobs lost and create new jobs; help small businesses that closed reopen and thrive; rebuild the personal economies and economic situations of each of our family members.
This crisis has shown us that we must strengthen the economic future of our families to ensure that missing a paycheck does not lead to foreclosure on mortgage, or eviction, or access to food, or the loss of a health insurance policy.
That is why I strongly support the expansion of the Affordable Care Act and opening up the HealthCare Marketplace to allow people to join outside of the enrollment period. We also must ensure that our health care workers have all the medical and personal protective equipment, they need to effectively combat this disease.
We hope our campaign can serve as a resource to you as you navigate these uncertain times.
Together, we can get through this. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or needs from our team.
If you are willing and able to chip in to our campaign, we appreciate any amount you are able to give.
